Twitter Announces Faster Search
Twitter announced search has become light speed faster, and more relevant because Twitter search is about to crawl links inside tweets. In fact, Twitter’s new VP of Operations, Santosh Jayaram was just a short while ago the VP of Search Quality for Google. Given the enormity of links, and the hockey stick adoption of Twitter, these links may well reach a mass that will give it the potential to have some interesting real time data. Yes, they have their work cut out for them, but they have a good start with relevant real time data.
